Sue began practising yoga nineteen years ago and trained as a yoga teacher with Jenny Beeken, founder and director of Heart Yoga. She still continues her studies with Jenny. Her spiritual yoga practice is deepened on retreats with Dr. Shrikrishna, former director of the Kaivalydhama in Mumbai (Bombay). Inspired by the books and workshops of Donna Farhi, she will be furthering her teacher training with this internationally recognised teacher in May 2005.
Sue is not attached to any one ‘school’ of yoga. Her teaching embraces all positive influences which encourage the individual to explore the power of yoga to change for the good; physically, mentally and spiritually.
The weekly classes take as their starting point the physical postures (asana). In the beginners courses, the basics of these postures are learned. As the student’s interest and experience grows, so, in the different classes, the practice of the physical postures can be extended and deepened, to suit the individual. Th
