The Santosha School of Yoga is the first yoga studio in Westminster. It was created as a ``school`` in order to focus on an educational approach to yoga. Students come to the Santosha School to study yoga. Beginning with their own body, students learn to read their body``s signs, which indicate physical and mental limitations, while practicing poses. Upon recognizing and honoring their limitations, students are then encouraged to slowly deepen their practice. The teachers at Santosha spend time discussing and demonstrating principles of alignment, variations of poses, as well as supporting the development of an intuitive, personal experience for each student.
