Karen Claffey, ND, RYT, fondly known as Karie (middle name Heaven), is a Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher, Therapist, and Teacher Trainer, and Director of Heaven On Earth Yoga Institute Yoga Teacher Training Certification programs and Karen Heaven Yoga Studio. She teaches "Anusara Influenced" Hatha Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, and also serves private and corporate clients. She conducts Heaven On Earth Yoga Retreats in beautiful locations around the world.
Karie is host-creator of her yoga television series, Yoga with Karen on Canal Vox (©2004). She is co-host of Josée Lavigeur’s yoga video, Initiation Au Yoga (2003), and host-creator of her CF Cable TV cooking series, Karens Kitchen (©1994/5). In 1993 Karie founded Karen``s Kitchen Macrobiotic Vegan International catering and cooking school, and is author-publisher of her vegan cookbook, Fast & Fun Food 1995).
Karie is a licensed Naturotherapist with the ANQ - Association des Naturotherapeutes de Quebec.
