An amazing space with Bamboo Hardwood floors and beautiful eastern decor. Maya Yoga is located in the historical Film Row building, once owned by Walt Disney. Kathleen Kastner Mortenson and Wade Mortenson own and teach at Maya. these two teachers have incredible energy, compassion and extensive knowledge of Ashtanga Yoga. In their co-taught classes, they pass the baton back and forth for an exciting blend of their Ashtanga inspired Vinyasa teaching styles. They give lots of personal attention with compassionate hands on adjustments from one or both of them while the other leads the class.
There is a sense of community at Maya Yoga where everyone seems to know one another and not only are the instructors welcoming but so are the students. Their are two bathrooms, with a changing area for the ladies. Check it out!
