Ravindranath was born in a south Indian Hindu family. He was a kuchipudi classical dancer when he was a child. He later became an Indian classical flutist. He studied Diploma in Yoga and Naturopathy (DYN) from Gujarat Ayurved University, jamnagar. He also studied Diploma in Indian Classical Flute from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. He is presently consulting number of patients in Delhi as he is a chief yoga therapist in the reputed ayurveda and homoeopathic centres in Delhi.
