Abdominopelvic Exercises- they are excellent warm-ups for other postures, and they form the foundation of the body. Back Bending, Forward Bending, Twisting , Inverted, and Standing Postures each have individual and group personalities. Among these, Back Bending postures are the most exhilarating and invigorating. As yoga postures they stimulate the sympathetic nervous system and prepare you for activity. In back bending you extend yourself, literally and figuratively, by lifting your posture, raising your spirits, and preparing yourself for action. Yoga postures , to name a few – Crunch, Fire Exercise, Basic Supine Double Leglift, Super Fish Leglift, Flat-bottom Boat, Angle Posture, Classic Triangle, Cobra, Upward Facing Dog, Locust, Prone Boat, Bow, Classic Fish , Camel, Hip Flexion, Squatting, Posterior Stretch, Plank posture, Child pose, Forward Bending with One Foot Tucked in, Standing Twist, Supine Twist, Double Leglift Supine Twist, Crow, Lifted Stick pose, Classic Shoulder Stand, Plow, Fish Pose, Bridge Pose, Lotus Posture.
