Q.1 What is Yoga for me ?
Ans. Yoga is disciplining muscles of the body through asana, control of the senses through Pranayam and balancing of body n soul with dhyan. When all gets united man becomes ready to tackle the stress of the day positively with the potential which is all the time inside.
It is for all beyond any boundaries.
There are different ASANA, PRANAYAM & DHYAN techniques. Dep endinging on the need of the person and fitness level, different plan of practice could be devised.
For eg..( Someone comes with distorted emotions, he could practice SIMHASANA, with 10-15 times of practice, the stress level could dropping considerably.)
• It actually b endings the trunk forward - psychologically making the person ready to take life ON.
• It takes the weight off the abdomen & diaphragm- inturn directing the energy generated in abdomen / diaphragm towards head freeing the tension from chest & diaphragm.
• Sambhavi mudra has to be adopted - which acts on cortex & concentrate the prana, stopping sensory distraction.
• Then it becomes easy to induce the state of withdrawing senses from illusion to vision.
Likewise things happen with pranayam & dhyan, more importantly the practice must be regular to get more benefits out of yoga.
Q.2 Vision for Yoga / self ?
Ans. Yoga exists in different basic forms - KARMA YOGA , JNANA YOGA, HATHA YOGA ,MANTRA YOGA, RAJA YOGA, LAYA YOGA.
either practice one variety & go on with that or one could creating mixture based on the perception & level of conciousness developed or given by mother nature to the individual practitioner. The practice must go on till the state of bliss is achieved not momentarily bliss but the bliss which exists all the time.
Yoga is the most valuable inheritance of present, essential need of today & culture of tomorrow.
